About the Role:
D-TECH TRADING, a front-runner in the tech trading industry, is expanding its operations and is in search of skilled Fiber Optic Technicians. This position calls for professionals adept at installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic systems and ensuring high-quality connectivity for our clients both in the city and in surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables using industry-standard techniques.
Conduct thorough inspections of fiber optic systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
Diagnose and repair faults in fiber optic cables and equipment.
Document and maintain clear and precise records of all installations and maintenance work.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations at all times.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Technician or similar role.
Knowledge of fiber optic systems and components, as well as electronic principles.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues with fiber optic technology.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
